Why is it important to vote?

1. Every Vote Counts

The entire structure of our government is based on citizens voting for representation and every election the stunning truth comes back to haunt us.

Jimmy Carter wins the state of Ohio by less than one vote per precinct.

George Bush wins Florida by 537 votes.

A local mayor loses the election by 14 votes, another by 250 votes.

A challenger for Congress loses the race by 4 votes per precinct.

A local school levy passes by less than 300 votes.

The reports come pouring in, and with them the reminder–every single vote counts.

2. Your Vote Effects Your Life

The people Americans elect directly effect them in almost every facet of their lives. Their money, their protection, their education, their transportation, their life.

3. If You Don't, Others Will

To Put it simply, Your vote is your voice. And your voice truly matters.  If you don't vote, your voice won't matter in the election.

If you think responsible citizenship is a good idea and you want to see more people show up on Election Day.  If you want more people to understand the issues that are so very critical in this culture. We could use your help.

It looks like we are in this battle together.
