Wayne Shepherd: Is global warming a
national security threat? I’m Wayne Shepherd with Dave Zanotti, President of
the American Policy Roundtable. Global warming is back on Capitol Hill
and The Public Square®.
Dave Zanotti: Wayne, the headline
is stunning. Hillary Clinton went before the U.S. Senate in her confirmation
hearings and made some statements about global warming that are not just
pitifully inaccurate – they are downright dangerous.
Mrs. Clinton basically told the Senate that
global warming is a national security threat. That’s not a new line. Al Gore has
been saying it. John Kerry has been saying it. As Secretary of State, Mrs.
Clinton is promising to negotiate away American public policy to satisfy the global
warming extremists in the international community.
Please don’t take my word for it.

the article for yourself.
The environmental hysteria in Congress over the
past twenty years has proven to be one of the greatest threats we have ever
faced. The refusal of the U.S. Congress to permit Americans to reach energy
independence has cost us trillions in lost revenue.
People forget the housing bubble and the $7
trillion loss of wealth that was triggered was hugely impacted by $4-a-gallon
gasoline costs. To this day America is at risk because Congress will not permit
us to develop safe energies in coal, oil and nuclear power. The U.S. Congress is
killing this economy because of energy policy.
Now the new Secretary of State is promising to
make things worse. There is something you can do about all of this. Now is the
time to get the facts on global warming and tell your US representative and
US
Senator you don’t buy the hysteria.
Wayne Shepherd: Thanks, Dave.
