| The Public Square
Radio Broadcast In the 1700s, American political thought was
communicated exclusively through the written word. People got most of their
information by word of mouth and print. Pamphlets were the most powerful tool in
the public debate.
Today, most people define political reality
based on what they see on television and what they hear on the radio. In 1989,
the Ohio Roundtable launched its first radio program called The Public Square on
a single station.
Today, this daily and weekend news and
commentary program is heard across all of Ohio, Florida and portions of the
Midwest. This daily source of information and encouragement now airs close to
7,000 times each year.
The Public Square is hosted by David Zanotti,
President of the Ohio Roundtable and Ohio Freedom Forum.
