A Prayer for your Member of Congress at Town Hall Meetings
SOURCE: The American Policy Roundtable
July 22 2011

Congressman, may I pray for you?

Dear God,

In Jesus Name, I come before you and ask you to deliver us from evil of every kind. We pray for this member of Congress that you would open his or her eyes to understand that obeying your commandments is the healthiest way to govern ourselves. Lord, please deliver us from our irresponsibility with money, for making debt we cannot pay. Give us the grace to repent and come back to you that we might find your blessing again. Amen.
