Illegal Immigration Issues

We can cut through thousands of pages and millions of words real quick here. The problem is not immigration. Almost all of us had somebody immigrate to get us here.

The problem is not that America cannot handle an additional 12 million people on our shores. We could probably handle more than that, especially given our aging population and the 40+ million people we have aborted since 1973.

The problem isn’t the color of an immigrants skin or the accent they carry or their level of education.

The problem is illegal immigration is simply that – illegal. This issue is about sanctioning the breaking of the law.

The vast majority of Americans do not want to send the message to the world that we have no respect for the laws on immigration. The lawlessness of 12 million illegal aliens and the future ramifications of sanctioning such lawlessness just plains bothers us.
