Jeff is passionate about America's history. This comes naturally since he was raised on the stories of his ancestors who have been in America since the days of the War for Independence. His great grandfather (times four) was the 13th Clerk of the United States House of Representatives (Thomas Dougherty). In his spare time Jeff is a Civil War re-enactor and teaches in schools, churches, and civic organizations about the average life of a Civil War soldier.
