Phoenix Coyotes assistant coach and former player Rick Tocchet was accused in 2006 of financing a nationwide gambling ring. Tocchet was sentenced last August to two years’ probation after pleading guilty to promoting gambling and conspiracy to promote gambling. He returned to his former job this week.
